Electroless Nickel Plating
Used as a reducing agent in EN plating baths for co-deposition of nickel-boron onto a variety of catalytic and activated substrates.  Also useful for electroless deposition of cobalt-boron and precious metals.

Printed Circuit Boards
Post-treatment of surface cupric oxide.  In Akahoshi’s process, DMAB avoids “pink ring” defects in later-stage acid treatments by reducing copper oxide layer to metallic copper, while retaining surface texture for stronger resin bonding.
